We utilize commercial pressure washers with detergent, degreaser and deodorizer injected through the machine to disinfect the inside of the chute from top to bottom. This will remove grime, grease, dirt, debris, etc. as possible. Then, we provide a cold water and/or hot water rinse to clear out remaining residue as possible. Next, we scrub and disinfect each each chute door floor by floor. Finally, we clean the garbage room to remove debris, grease, grime, etc. as possible.
When garbage chutes are left uncleaned, grease, grime and food substances will remain on the walls of the chute causing fire risks, terrible odors and bacteria. Even if the chute doesn't smell bad when the weather is not too hot, it usually manifests itself in the summer heat resulting in urgent calls from occupants to correct the issue. If left uncleaned, buildup can cause fire risks, odors and bacteria. Regular service can prevent odors, health risks and unsanitary conditions.
We use portable/truck/trailer mounted pressure washers up to 4000 PSI, hot and cold water and detergent, degreaser and deodorizer injected through the machine. The variable PSI with hot water allows us to use industrial strength power and/or hot/cold water in the tougher areas and delicate pressure and/or hot/cold water in the fragile areas.
